Rather than stand in judgment of conflict, the members of the Gambling Industry Association offer a service of arbitration. We have a stand alone, private forum, specifically designated for this purpose alone. In the event of a dispute where resolution appears unlikely, then a quorum of peers will be selected, as set out below, who's opinion will be considered binding by all.
All matters will have their own private thread that will be locked as soon as the matter is resolved. No outside parties will have access to this thread other than the parties involved and the arbitrators.
First Relief (Preliminary)
In the case of any dispute, the Gambling Industry Association will make a private forum available that only the involved parties can access together with 2 Gambling Industry Moderators. It is the duty of the moderators to facilitate only in this instance. If at all possible, the two parties must try and resolve their differences between themselves in a proper and professional manner. We emphasize that, in addition to conducting themselves professionally, we expect participants to actively seek a compromise if the situation calls for it.
Player Complaints
In the event that a players complaint is not satisfactorily resolved in the preliminary arbitration process and a dispute is declared, then a quorum of 2 senior player members, 2 senior casino operators, and 2 Gambling Industry Association moderators will take a fresh and impartial look at all the facts. Both player and casino will be expected to assist the arbitration committee by providing requested information. It will be the committee's duty to try and find a resolution, even for sensitive matters. The committee has the right to try and find middle ground where a compromise that is satisfactory to both parties may be the best option.
Affiliate Complaints
In the event that an affiliates complaint is not satisfactorily resolved in the preliminary arbitration process and a dispute is declared, then a quorum of 2 senior webmaster members, 2 senior affiliate manager members, and 2 Gambling Industry Association moderators will take a fresh and impartial look at all the facts. Both affiliate and affiliate program will be expected to assist the arbitration committee by providing requested information. It will be the committee's duty to try and find a resolution, even for sensitive matters. The committee has the right to try and find middle ground where a compromise that is satisfactory to both parties may be the best option.
